Classic Creamy Hot Chocolate

A rich, smooth, café-style hot chocolate made with real chocolate and cream. This version is everything you want in a hot chocolate—creamy, slightly thick, and perfectly balanced between sweet and chocolatey.


🍫 Ingredients (1 Cup | ~200–220 ml)

Fresh cream (25%)40 g
Dark chocolate (50–70%)30 g
Cocoa powder5 g
Sugar8–10 g
Salt0.2 g (pinch)
Vanilla extract (optional)1 g
 Method 

Mix the base
In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Heat gently
Place on low-medium heat and whisk continuously to avoid lumps. 

Add chocolate
Once hot (not boiling), add chopped chocolate and stir until melted. 

Finish
Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well. 

Serve
Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy warm.
